Pool Too Hot?

So, you finally got the pool you’ve always wanted, and now you’re disappointed to find that it’s too hot- maybe even uncomfortably so. If you’ve found yourself in this situation, it’s probably because your pool is fairly shallow, six feet or less, and/or because it’s in the path of a lot of direct sunlight, which happens often in the Springfield, IL area. Thankfully, though, you can easily fix this problem by installing a pool chiller.

Efficiency

People often avoid pool chillers because they think they will cost a lot to run. However, this is not necessarily the case. As long as you buy a quality pool chiller, it should be very energy efficient. Not only that but the lower, more stable temperature of the water should also allow you to use fewer pool chemicals, which will save you money as well.

Choice

With a good pool chiller, you can actually choose the exact temperature you want your water to be. So, if you like a very cool, very refreshing pool, or if you want things warm but not too warm, you can customize your pool to your exact needs and preferences. There’s no other way to get that type of “comfort control.”

Comfort

Of course, the main reason to invest in a pool chiller is increased comfort. And, the right chiller can definitely provide that, especially if the bottom of your pool is made from a material that tends to absorb heat, such as pebble, a dark-finished material, or tile. Don’t sacrifice having the pool bottom you want because of worry over temperatures. Get whatever bottom you want and keep it and your whole pool cool with a chiller.

As you can see, a pool chiller can do you and your pool a world of good. So, if you’re tired of too-hot temperatures or just want more control over your pool water, a chiller is the way to go!
